Since 1918, The Junior League of Denver, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, has returned tens of thousands of volunteer hours and dollars to the Metro Denver community. In fiscal year 2007-2008, we provided over 64,000 trained volunteer hours and financial support to our community partners and programs.
The Junior League of Denver. . .
- Provides volunteers and funds to support programs that address the health and educational needs of women and children.
- Provides training that prepares women to be effective volunteers and leaders in the community throughout their lives.
- Advocates for families through effective legislation and public policy.
- Provides an environment that incorporates diversity in its programs and membership.
- Creates community awareness about the needs of women and children through its own programs and by supporting the efforts of its community partners.
- Serves as a convener, coalition builder and collaborative partner with community groups to address the health and education of women and children.
Funds raised through the fundraising efforts of the Junior League of Denver are used to train and educate our membership for effective community service as well as financially aid projects and programs of our community partners.
