Junior League of Denver Community Assistance Fund
Making an Impact in the Community - JLD Awards over $20K in Grants
The 2010-2011 Community Assistance Fund (CAF) awarded a total of $20,550 to six outstanding metro Denver non-profit organizations. These six deserving agencies were selected after conducting an extensive and thorough review of approximately 58 applications. **The 2010-2011 year ran June 1, 2010 - May 31, 2011.
The recipients are:
- Florence Crittenton Services: $4,250
- Hope House of Colorado: $2,000
- HospiceCare of Boulder & Broomfield Counties: $3,000
- Lutheran Family Services of Colorado: $3,000
- Mile High Down Syndrome Association: $5,000
- Smart-Girl: $3,300

The Junior League of Denver is currently in a literacy research year. As a result, we have decided to put our Community Assistance Fund grant program on hold for the 2012-2013 JLD year (June 1, 2012 - May 31, 2013).
