When, Where, and What is The Journey?
The Journey 2019 is an exciting evening fundraiser that takes place on Friday, March 22 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center downtown! All proceeds support the Junior League of Denver’s mission of developing civic women leaders, as well as the League’s current community focus on early childhood literacy.
What does it mean to be a Table Hostess?
Serving as a table hostess for The Journey means that you are committing to fill a table at the event. You will be in charge of recruiting attendees to sit with you, and selling 10 total tickets for your table (yourself included). As a table hostess, you will be invited to exclusive events leading up to The Journey, as well as receive a table hostess gift the night of event!
How many seats are at each table?
Each table has 10 seats. This means you only have to invite 9 other guests!
Is there a benefit to filling my table early?
YES! The earlier you give us the names of your guests, the better placement you will receive in the ballroom. You may also purchase your table in full, lock in your placement, and have your friends pay you once they are ready to commit.
What if I can’t pay for my entire table upfront?
This is fine, but we still need your help filling the table. Please encourage the rest of your group to purchase their tickets ASAP so you will be seated at the best available table in the ballroom.
What if I commit, but then can’t fill my table?
If you cannot fill your entire table of 10, we will make sure to place individual ticket purchasers at your table. You will no longer be eligible for a table hostess gift, but hey, you will still be there enjoying The Journey with your friends!
How do guests ensure they are seated at my table?
When your guests purchase their tickets, they will need to write YOUR name in the comments section of the ticket purchase form. We will take care of the rest.
